My stay at Hemingway Casa Rural Kanala surpassed all expectations, excelling in every aspect from design to hospitality. The spacious building, meticulously designed and beautifully built, exuded a sense of luxury and comfort. The presence of a lift was a convenient touch, ensuring easy access to all areas of the hotel. Jon and Irune, the welcoming hosts, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, offering assistance and local insights.Our room was a haven of tranquility, boasting ample natural light and a serene ambiance. The large luxury bathroom with free toiletries felt indulgent, complementing the huge and incredibly comfortable bed. Despite not owning a plug-in car, the availability of charging points showcased the hotel's forward-thinking approach. The stunning views of the beach and estuary, visible from our terrace, added a touch of magic to our mornings and evenings. The modern and stylish interior featured a flat-screen TV and parquet floors, blending contemporary aesthetics with cozy elements. The addition of a fan during a heatwave, in the absence of air conditioning, demonstrated the hotel's commitment to guest comfort. Kanala beach, a mere 5-minute walk away, provided a tranquil escape with the bonus of shaded spots—perfect for relaxation. Casa Hemingway Kanala truly stands out as a gem on the Basque coast, offering a seamless blend of beauty, functionality, and warm hospitality.
